On December 3rd, as part of Dixon High School’s centennial celebration of Ronald Reagan’s years at DHS, Tom Wadsworth will present “How Dutch Helped Moon: The Story of the Reagan Brothers” at the DHS Auditorium.
Wadsworth will share his research into the relationship between Ronald “Dutch” Reagan and his big brother, Neil “Moon” Reagan. The story traces the special relationship of the two local boys from their Dixon days to their college days at Eureka, their radio days in Iowa, and their professional careers in California and beyond.
Tom Wadsworth is a popular speaker and newspaper columnist on local history. His career includes 10 years as the morning news anchor on WSDR, 10 years in pulpit ministry, and 30 years in corporate communications. He has been hired to speak at events throughout the United States and internationally. Now retired and living in Dixon, he holds two master’s degrees and a PhD.
The one-hour presentation, which includes several rare photos and little-known details, will be held at the James Wiltz Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
