Dixon Public Schools is having a Regular Board Meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be recorded and placed on our website. KSB notified us that on Thursday, October 10th, the OSF team will be filming the area around Dixon High School. They plan to arrive either mid morning or early afternoon. We wanted to make our students, staff, parents, and community aware since they will be on or near DHS.

Dixon High School is having to renovate the area directly in front of Lancaster Gymnasium. The current planter area is unstable and unsafe. The engraved capstones have been removed. If you purchased a capstone and would like to keep it, please contact Kevin Schultz at (815) 373-4966 ext. 5122. The capstones have been removed, and Kevin can set up a time for you to pick up your personalized stone. Capstones will be available for pick-up through Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The commemorative stone from the Classes of 2002 and 2003 will be moved to the grassy area to the left of the Lancaster Gymnasium doors. Landscaping will be added in the spring to highlight this area.
