Jefferson students have been learning about The Civil War in Amplify and made Abraham Lincoln hats and beards to show their appreciation for all of his hard work in ending slavery and uniting our country once again!

Reminder: Tickets for the DHS production of Pippin can be purchased online at https://our.show/dhspippin or at the ticket booth at DHS Wiltz Auditorium on Wednesday and Thursday this week from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The ticket booth will also open one hour before showtime on show days!


Dixon Public Schools is having their Regular Board Meeting on Wed., April 17, 2024, at 6:00 pm.
This meeting will be recorded and posted on the District's YouTube channel and website. Those wishing to submit public comment need to email them to the Board President, Linda Wegner, and to the Superintendent, Margo Empen, by noon on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Public Comment received after this time may not be guaranteed to be read aloud at this meeting.

Reminder: Pippin will be taking place this weekend in the James A. Wiltz Auditorium! The performance dates are Friday and Saturday, April 19th and 20th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, April 21st at 2:00 pm. Students participated in the 2024 National AG Week Coloring Contest sponsored by Lee County AG in the classroom. There were 218 entries representing five school districts, grades K-8! Mrs. Pratt awarded the following students with certificates and a goodie bag.
